Overview

This is the last 44 Midnight Lace built by the Golden Wave shipyard which was a division of Cheoy Lee Shipyard. She is the only one with a navy blue hull. the Midnight Lace was Tom Fexas' dream boat. He designed it to move through the water efficiently with minimum effort while maintaining stability at both high and low speeds. It does not require extreme power to bring the hull up to plane because it does not plane. At the same time, it's not a displacement hull either. Instead it's what Fexas calls a penetrating hull. The bow is always in the water, while the stern rises up to what you might call planning.

The Midnight Lace is meant to move. It's meant to do so in comfort and luxury. It's a very private boat for owners who know that they party at the yacht club or attend dockside tailgate parties at marinas far from home. The Midnight Lace is a mean elegant cruising machine. It's not for everyone...
